Therapy, without the commute.
Life is busy. Between work, kids, appointments, practices, traffic, and everything else competing for your time, adding a drive to and from therapy may be the last thing you need.
Telehealth allows you to meet with your therapist through secure video sessions from a private space that works for you.
Your office. Your bedroom. Your parked car between commitments. Your favorite chair with a cup of coffee.
No waiting room required.
Why telehealth?
Online therapy offers many of the benefits of traditional therapy with a little more flexibility built in.
Telehealth may be a great fit if you:
- Have a busy work or family schedule
- Live farther away from mental health services
- Want to avoid adding drive time to your day
- Travel within the state and need more flexibility
- Feel more comfortable talking from your own space
- Have transportation or mobility challenges
- Need therapy to fit into your life rather than becoming another thing you have to rearrange your life around
- Simply prefer meeting virtually
How does it work?
Sessions take place through a secure video platform and can be accessed using a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a reliable internet connection.
Find a comfortable, private space, log in at your scheduled time, and we’ll meet just like we would in an office, minus the commute and awkward waiting-room small talk.
You’ll want a space where you can speak freely and reasonably expect privacy. Headphones can be helpful, particularly if other people are nearby.
And while your dog, cat, or other household member may occasionally make an unexpected appearance, they are generally welcome to attend, as long as they understand they are not the client.
Therapy can meet you where you are. Literally.
Telehealth can make it easier to consistently make space for yourself, even when the rest of life feels tangled.
You don't need the perfect setting. You don't need a perfectly quiet house. And you definitely don't need to clean the room that's outside the camera frame.
Just find a little privacy, get comfortable, and show up as you are. We can untangle things from there.
